    Final Report

    Each Chancellor's Commonwealth Professorship recipient is required to complete a final status report summarizing the project and project results.

  • Describe how you achieved the purpose of this project, and how you addressed the need for your project as described in the “Purpose and Need” section of your application. If you did not successfully achieve the purpose and need, please discuss.

  • Provide a clear and concise list of project results, outcomes, and deliverables from year one and year two of the Professorship. (Please delineate results and deliverables by year accomplished.)

  • Describe the benefits realized through support of this project. Specifically address benefits to the VCCS faculty, staff, administrators, and students. Clearly link project outcomes and deliverables to measurable student outcomes.

  • Discuss any obstacles, unforeseen problems, and modifications made to the plan during the first or second year of the of the Professorship. Describe how any modifications made to the project plan during the lifecycle of the project impacted (e.g., expedited or potentially prevented) the recipients ability to successfully achieve project outcomes as required.

  • Provide a budget status update that clearly identifies how you have met the budget goals detailed in the Itemized Budget Spreadsheet from your application. Include any modifications made to your budget during year one or year two of the Professorship. (Please delineate budget modifications by date.)

  • (Optional) Please upload an updated version of your Itemized Budget Spreadsheet, if applicable. Microsoft Excel format is allowed.

  • Please provide any other updates relative to timely and successful completion of the project as initially proposed. Please note that any project changes, challenges, and opportunities emerging through research results or other circumstances associated with the project or the recipient that changed the nature, scope, and successful completion of the project as proposed should be clearly identified in this report.
