Chancellor’s Leadership Academy (CLA)

The VCCS Office of Professional Development is pleased to host this year’s Chancellor’s Leadership Academy (CLA)  September 20-21, 2018 at VCCS headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.

  • What is covered for participants?

    Tuition:  The VCCS Office of Professional Development will support the tuition for one attendee per campus; one employee from the Shared Services Center; and two employees from the System Office.
  • *Lodging:  Lodging on Wednesday, September 19 (the night before the academy) and Thursday, September 20 will be provided for participants from the following colleges/agencies:  BRCC, DCC, DSLCC, ESCC, LFCC, MECC, NRCC, PHCC, Shared Services Center, SWVCC, TCC, VHCC, VWCC, and WCC. Lodging on Thursday, September 20 only will be provided for participants from the following colleges:  CVCC, GCC, NVCC, PCC, PDCCC, RCC, SSCC, TNCC. Employees of J. Sargeant Reynolds, John Tyler, and the System Office are not eligible for overnight accommodations.
  • Meals: Thursday lunch and Friday lunch are provided for each participant. Colleges are responsible for supporting participants’ travel costs, including Thursday’s dinner, meals on the road and mileage. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast and free parking to all hotel guests.
    Upon successful completion of the online registration, participants will receive instructions for making your hotel reservations.
  • *Eligible participants must make their hotel reservations by September 5, 2018.
